Eligible SMEs are invited to attend a free half day Masterclass on Strategic Roadmapping on either the 27th or 28th February 2017 in Newcastle.
Roadmapping is a method that is used widely in industry to support strategy and planning. The approach was originally developed by Motorola more than 25 years ago and has since been adapted and applied in a wide variety of industries.
Participants will be given an overview of the key concepts and walked through ‘hands on’ practical activities to experience how to develop actual roadmaps.
The training will give companies the knowledge and confidence to apply roadmapping techniques in their own business and is aimed at strategic planners, product managers and technical managers.
The Masterclass is delivered by Urban Foresight supported by Sunderland Software City. The Sunderland Software City project (phase 3) is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
The Masterclass will be led by Dr David Beeton, who has over 14 years of experience of developing roadmaps for blue chip corporates, innovative SMEs and governments around the world. David was also awarded a PhD from the University of Cambridge for his work to develop new roadmapping tools and techniques.
