Electric Vehicle Charging Consultants
Location: Newcastle or Dundee, UK
Deadline: Friday 13th September 2024
We’re looking for ambitious consultants to join our electric mobility group.
You’ll be working as part of an expert team that specialises in electric vehicles and charging infrastructure solutions. You’ll help to deliver an exciting portfolio of projects and win new work to further grow our business.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about electric mobility, excited about what we do, and keen to contribute to our mission to make good things happen.
These permanent roles would ideally be based in one of our offices (Newcastle or Dundee).
The role
You’ll work on a diverse range of projects in the UK and overseas.
You should apply if you:

Responsibilities will vary depending on your experience, but are likely to include:
- undertaking research and analysis.
- developing feasibility studies, business cases, strategies, and evidence-based reports.
- preparing tenders, bids for funding, and business development activities.
- managing projects and supporting the development of junior staff.
Skills and experience
We are interested to meet candidates with different levels of experience. You may be an experienced consultant who can lead an area of our business, or an early career professional who can complement our existing team.
We are also interested to meet candidates with different professional backgrounds and interests. You may be a:
- consultant working in electric mobility or charging infrastructure deployment.
- transport engineer, analyst, economist, or planner.
- policy or strategy officer in local government or a regional/national transport authority.
- project manager with experience of delivering electric mobility or sustainable transport solutions.
- researcher or analyst with relevant experience.
The ideal candidates would have:
- good knowledge of the latest developments and opportunities in electric mobility.
- a relevant degree or professional qualification.
- track record of successful business development and bid writing.
- excellent report writing skills.
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- experience of managing partners and clients to successfully deliver consultancy assignments and/or innovation projects.
