Alejandro is an economist with a background in quantitative economics; his research interests are the evaluation and design of public policy, productivity analysis and applied econometrics. He joined Urban Foresight as an Economic Development Consultant in the Autumn of 2022.
He is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Durham University with a Master’s degree in Economics from the National University of Mexico (UNAM).
As well as this he has experience teaching Economics to undergraduates at Durham University and UNAM. In addition, Alejandro has published papers on economic research about the labour market and banking credit.
Prior to his Doctoral studies, he worked as an economic analyst researcher for the Mexican development bank SHF.
