Dan Langford

Dan is a mobility expert with over a decade of experience evaluating  and managing innovation and technology strategy across multiple industries in the UK, Australia and the US. 

Prior to joining Urban Foresight, Dan was Innovation Director at the Nevada Centre for Advanced Mobility. He applied his broad technology background to solving societal challenges and diversifying the economy of Nevada through a range of innovative transportation projects at the intersection of academia, industry, and government. 

Dan was one of the authors of the autonomous vehicle legislation in Nevada that enabled the first commercial deployment of driverless fleets in the USA.  

He has also worked in various roles commercialising university technology in Europe and the United States, progressing research outcomes from idea through to spinout businesses or licensing. This includes working as Intellectual Property Manager at Robert Gordon University, where he engaged with businesses and universities across Scotland.
