Neil is a highly experienced global R&D insights practitioner. Prior to joining Urban Foresight, he spent over 12 years at Procter and Gamble managing innovation projects for some of its biggest FMCG brands. Projects included qualifying new technologies, delivering savings and bringing sustainability initiatives to market. Neil also took responsibility for ensuring QA, safety, regulatory, environmental, legal and marketing support compliance for these programmes.
Neil has a deep passion for consumer-focused design having led and executed multiple upstream field research programmes across Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. He is knowledgeable in quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods research techniques, and is a skilled interviewer, focus group moderator and workshop facilitator.
Neil holds a BSc in Biochemistry and a MSc in Bioinformatics from St Andrews and Newcastle University respectively. He most recently achieved an MBA from Newcastle Business School, where he worked on a diverse range of strategic consultancy projects for client organisations ranging from large multi-nationals to small start-ups.
