The Thames Estuary Production Corridor is an ambitious programme to create a world-class centre for creative and cultural production.

Launched by the Mayor of London in 2017, the vision for the Thames Estuary Production Corridor was to create “the world’s largest creative production corridor.”

The programme would unite developments in east London, the North Kent Coast ,and South Essex, creating a landmark corridor along the Estuary. The programme would stimulate investments in innovation, new jobs, developing local talent, and supporting the rapid growth of the creative economy.

Working in partnership with Hatch Regeneris, we were commissioned to review the emerging technologies that will impact on the creative and cultural production sector within the Thames Estuary economy.

Our final report included recommendations on how investment can influence the development of an economy that can benefit from these trends.

This supported a successful application for a £4.3-million grant to strengthen the cultural and creative identity of the Estuary, creating jobs, boosting tourism, and diversifying communities.
