New historic office signals a bright future for Urban Foresight in Dundee

Urban Foresight moves to a new office in Dundee’s City Quay

Urban Foresight has moved into a new office in Dundee, signaling its long-term commitment to the city.

The office move is an important milestone in our commitment to invest over £2.6 million in growing our team in Dundee, creating 21 new jobs.

Having first established a base in Dundee in 2017, Urban Foresight has experienced significant growth in headcount and turnover.

Urban Foresight Director, Rachel Beeton said, “We’ve built a talented team in Dundee that’s delivering exciting projects around the world. This new office underlines our desire to grow our presence in the city and give our team the quality facilities to succeed well into the future.”

Located in the heart of Dundee, the new office is housed in a listed former transit shed that once exported goods around the world.

Today City Quay is part of the £1.6 billion transformation of Dundee’s Waterfront, one of the largest regeneration projects in the UK.

In refurbishing the office, Urban Foresight set out to create an example of how to operate in a more sustainable way.

“One of the most exciting aspects of our new office is the emphasis on sustainability and the circular economy in its design and furnishings,” said Rachel Beeton. “We’ve furnished the premises entirely with second-life furniture, and have implemented energy efficiency measures to reduce our carbon footprint.”

The new office space is designed to foster collaboration and creativity among our team, with open workspaces and plenty of natural light. One of the most striking features is a five-metre-high mural, which is inspired by street art and developed by Urban Foresight’s in-house design team.

Urban Foresight’s new address is: 30 City Quay, Camperdown Street, Dundee, DD1 3JA .
