Urban Foresight at the 2023 Smart City Expo World Congress

We have been invited to join the UK’s official delegation led by the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade.

As the world’s biggest and most influential event on urban innovation, we are regular attendees at the Smart City Expo World Congress event in Barcelona. 

We will be based at the UK Pavilion alongside a selection of fellow UK organisations also championing development in smart places such as the Connected Places Catapult, Welsh Government and Local Authorities.  

Emma Clement, Principal Consultant and one of our specialists in Innovation Management will be representing Urban Foresight at the event. 

Emma has recently completed an extensive analysis of the use of data for Smart Towns in Wales and a Horizon Scan of Future Trends for UK Towns and Cities for Innovate UK.
