Pippa brings a wealth of consultancy experience having worked more than ten years across public and private sectors to improve basic urban services.
She joined Urban Foresight from WaterAid, an international not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene where she led the Research and Learning team.
Prior to that, Pippa worked as an international development consultant, leading a range of projects delivering a mix of technical assistance, research and evaluation, action learning and project management services.
With a deep commitment to help improve urban services and enable learning mechanisms to drive change, she brings a wealth of cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural experience from time working and living in Belgium, Ghana and Senegal.
Pippa holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University where she led research on how housing and land title affects access to urban services in Dakar, Senegal. She also holds two Masters degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Environment and Development.
