Eamon Banerjee

Graduate Project Specialist

Eamon is a BSc Economics graduate from UCL, and holds MSc Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with a specialisation in development economics. Passionate about local sustainable economic development, Eamon uses his economics background to approach projects using data analysis and economic modelling.

In between his two degrees, Eamon worked for IBMR, which attempted to use blockchain technology to promote sustainable asset creation in the Philippines, and developed surveys to gather socio-economic data that could be used for more targeted local economic development.

Eamon’s main interest lies in using accountability to enable sustainable development of both urban and rural economies. His Master’s thesis investigated how much local context matters when intervening to reform service provision in rural areas using monitoring. Using his existing knowledge of economic development, he is keen to gain further professional experience to help deliver projects that are sustainable and effective.
